A. Introduction of online e-Tariff Rate Quota System for Imports.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade vide Trade Notice No.40/2020-21-DGFT dated February 4, 2021 has introduced online e-Tariff Rate Quota System for imports. All applicants seeking Tariff Rate Quota(TRQ) for imports are required to submit their application online under “e-Tariff Rate Quota” in the Import Management System, through importer’s dashboard on the DGFT Website (https://dgft.gov.in a Import Management System a Tariff Rate Quota ) with effect from 08 February 2021.

B. Amendment in Appendix 2T and Appendix 2D of FTP, 2015-2020 regarding incorporation/change of details of Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council.

The Directorate General of Foreign Trade vide Public Notice No. 38 /2015-2020 dated February 9, 2021 has revised the details of products for which M/s Electronics and Computer Software Export Promotion Council is authorised to issue Registration-cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) under Appendix 2T of FTP, 2015-2020 and its address details under Appendix 2T and Appendix 2D of FTP, 2015-2020.

C. Amendment of Importer-Exporter Code (IEC) related provisions under Chapter-1 and Chapter-2 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020.
The Directorate General of Foreign Trade vide Notification No. 58/2015-2020 dated February 12, 2021 has amended Importer Exporter Code related provisions in Chapter-1 and Chapter-2 of Foreign Trade Policy, 2015-2020 and new provisions have been inserted.
